Wish I could stop fretting about my teeth! (Well, and my belly and love handles and manboobs and everything else, but you get the idea...) Everyone on every screen has such gleaming white teeth all the time. Drink some Pinot Noir, you monsters!
Love Hilda and her glorious curvy body. Like you, I mostly have defaulted to black clothes and no longer looking in the mirror. Pictures are an awful surprise but mostly I am no longer dressing up this body for approval and that feels really good most days.
Very this. I worried so much what people thought of me - everyone! random strangers! I used to put make-up on if a plumber was coming round! - and now I really don't give a shit.
This really resonates with me now I am 55, especially the not liking the look of myself in photos. Just came back from Croatia and actually regretted not owning a bikini to wear once I was there though! Basically, every woman wears one there - women of all ages and all shapes. It's very unusual to wear a one piece there (unless you are a child) which was mind-bending for me but also very liberating!
Ooh my sister went to Croatia earlier this year and said it was the most beautiful place she’s ever been. I’d love to go. I took bikinis on holiday the last few years but I have somehow lost them! I can only assume they were damp in a bag and got thrown away?? I need new ones!
So happy you have made it there Keris! Your name change for your stack reminds me of all those Chinese shops or restaurants who call themselves 'Lucky' something. I am sure naming your whatever - what you actually want to attract - does work so good move! :}

Haha! There's always something, isn't there. And everyone's teeth are way too bright now! Like those bloody LED headlights.
Ah Keris! Reading this first thing in the morning and it's set off a feeling of delight!
I’m so glad!
It pairs well with the choral piece I'm working on. Vivaldi's Gloria. Rich and Full and Glorious!
It's kinda funny how glad I am that you're glad that I'm glad...feels very much like a choral vibe!

Those images are joyous. Working towards the self acceptance slowly, hardly ever look in the mirror which definitely helps
For me, it was like that John Green line about falling in love: slowly and then all at once.

It's absolutely beautiful there. I am going to get myself a bikini and hopefully return to Croatia next summer! 😘😁
I hope you do!!

Voluptuous and lovely…..until I lost a bunch of weight, and now I feel too skinny sometimes. Either way, large or small, I am perfect. 🩵🤎
