Delighted to read this - Anna is so damn smart, and so honest about how to make creative work financially sustainable, and I don't know anyone else who is working with such integrity in this brutal and frequently ridiculous line of work.
The earliest memory reminded me of being in WHSmiths one January and a small child in front of me was with their parent and about to buy something with their Christmas money and whilst in the queue asked them how much change they thought they’d get? The parent said well it’s £10 and you have £10 so none and they replied “but maybe I’ll be lucky” 😅

Oh no - she saw this comment and Liked it, and it'll all go to her head now and we'll never hear the end of it. Sigh.
I was in the process of writing a comment back to say “that was shockingly nice, what do you want?”
So brutal and ridiculous! (Not Anna.)
(Or you!)
Love the relaunch and obviously I also love Anna 🤍
Thanks!
Loved this interview!
